King’s Theatre is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of L’nu, also known as the Mi’kmaq Peoples, who have lived and cared for this land since time immemorial. We are honoured to live, work and be a part of the community here on this scared land. We honour the Peace and Friendship Treaties, some of which were signed right here in Annapolis Royal. We acknowledge that we are all treaty people.
We also acknowledge and honour the significant foundations that African Nova Scotian and Acadian communities have played in building this province.
As stewards of culture, King’s Theatre seeks to honour the values of collaboration and inclusivity in all that we do.
