ABOUT LIL VILLAINS THEATRE

Lil Villains is a new offshoot of Nova Scotia’s most spirited and quirky company, The Villains Theatre. This unique new chapter of our programming allows us to tell stories exclusively for young audiences and their families. It is helmed by longtime collaborators Dan Bray and Noella Murphy, both of whom believe that young Nova Scotians need a theatre to call their own. Our stories are silly, mischievous, and heart-warming, with a focus on inclusiveness and togetherness. The Villains Theatre (est 2009) is an independent company dedicated to unique adaptations and making accessible art. This is the first Lil Villains production, and we hope to share many more adventures with Nova Scotian youngsters in the years to come. Since our artistic leadership is currently split between Kjipuktuk/Halifax and Antigonish, we are constantly looking for ways to connect our audiences and to provide theatrical opportunities (both for audiences and artists) with Nova Scotians from all walks of life. Let’s have some fun!
