DRUMS ACROSS CANADA – All are welcome to join us at King’s Theatre on Sunday Sept. 11 at 4:30pm Atlantic time. FREE!

Drum groups in eight locations (including Annapolis Royal, NS) will participate in a traditional call and response that will start in Niagara, ON and travel back and forth across the country before culminating with a shared song and reflections from each drum group.

Special thanks to local groups Sipu Singers and All Nations Drum who will be here on the King’s Theatre stage.

The event aims to foster healing, unity, peace, respect and friendship to create transformative and sustainable change for the next 7 Generations.

  • Response and Call from Quebec by Kontiwennenhawi (The Akwesasne Women Singers)
  • Response and Call from Prince Edward Island by Lennox Island First Nation
  • Response and Call from New Brunswick by Pokəholakənəl Witsehkehsolticik (Sisters of the Drum)
  • -Response and Call from Nova Scotia by Sipu Singers and All Nations Drum
  • Response from Ontario by Warrior Womyn of Positive Drum and Strong Water Singers
  • Final group song by all
